Volunteer

We really need your help as volunteers for the Christmas Luncheon and other fundraising activities. On Christmas Day, around 30 – 40 people are needed to help with preparing and serving food, minding toys area and some food stations and many other things. Help is also needed prior to the day for setting up and after for tearing down and packing. If you could please let us know in advance so that we can organise the works better for all volunteers.

We need some volunteers also at our fundraising activities like Bunnings BBQ and Christmas in July.

Christmas Luncheon Tasks List

Wednesday 24^th December 2025, 1 – 5 PM:
– set up tables and chairs
– wash and prepack cutleries, platers, plates, bowls, etc.
– decorations of the stage, santa’s area and other areas
– delivery of food, equipment and presents
– count and sort donated gifts/other items
– pack ‘lucky door prize’ bags
– equipment testing (mics, speakers, ovens)
– fill drink’s kiosk fridge with cans and bottled water

Thursday 25th December 2025, 8.30 AM – 2.30 PM:
– guest sign-in and wrist band distribution
– directing guests to available seats (manage seat)
– food preparation
– food and drink service
– social support (chatting with guests and bringing food and drink to those who require extra help)
– monitoring line-up for photos with Santa and gift tables
– lucky door prize draws
– managing movement (assist with line formation for food, photo with Santa and gift tables)
– cleaning (as required)
– recycling supervisor (collection of cans and water bottles)
– final clean-up of hall and kitchen area
– pack and list items placed in each storage tub
– ensure items have been recorded and tubs are labelled prior to storage

Specialised volunteers required for December 25th:
– Santa (must have a current NSW Working with Children Check)
– Security (current NSW certified)
– First Aid (current NSW certified)
– Master of Ceremonies
– Entertainers
